• You can lock it using the phone app via bluetooth. It turns off the power to the motor but its not locked physically anyone can still grab and get away with the scooter. Its better to lock it to a post using chain or u-lock.

• You can use the app to lock it, activates the brakes and makes a noise if moved. You can also use a bike lock.

• Physical cable lock (metal chains) is always the best choice. There is also an App available for all Segway Units to electronically lock the motors to vibrate and alarm when ridden while it is locked. But always be wary as they can still be carried even though they are electronically locked.
