No you will have to buy the hub. If you purchase the starter kit that comes with the hub and 2 bulbs that is all you will need. You can control up to 64 bulbs on one hub

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes for the full size Amazon echo. No for Google home devices The bulbs use a zigbee connection. Amazon echo has the transmitter built in. You would need a separate hub if you're using the bulbs with Google home devices.
