I'm running the Soundbar using my old Samsung Q8FN via it's ARC only, no eARC on my TV. I run my Blu ray player and Roku box directly into the Soundbar inputs which does the decoding.

Hi Rich,

 I do not know the codes for the Ambeo. If you call their tech line they will give them to you. 

Yes the EARC out is backwards compatible.
