This sound is so powerful you will have to turn it down! My wife hates it cause it’s so loud. Shakes house and neighbors can here It. I don’t think unless your a world class acoustic expert, anything would affect or dappen the power of this soundbar . It’s all power! I have it paired with Martin Logan 1100ESX subwoofer . The room is a rectangle with walls of a fireplace / window - wall looking at ocean / just 8’ fall and the last wall about 30 feet away in the kitchen . This soundbar is like all others on steroids. I truly think those measuring paint thickness and adjusting sound and truly capable of hearing a difference are few and far . I have as tv the Sony A9G 77”. Good luck!
