“Will I need a headphone amp to get a sufficient volume level when doing home producing? If purchased I will be using the headphones plugged directly into my laptop do produce and mix music. While some consumer headphones have sufficient volume, some studio headphones require a headphone amp to produce adequate volume.”

• These headphones have a fairly low impedance- you will get ample volume and clean, natural sound without exaggeration (true, unbiased linear sound reproduction) at all volumes.

• I use these headphones with my laptop a lot and I have to turn down the volume so I don't think you will have any problems with these for that.
