yes, these have a significantly huge difference in sound quality. should you get them? my personal preference would be no. these are studio quality headphones, and are not really intended to be used out of the studio or home stereo.

However, the Sennheiser Closed Over-the-Ear Dynamic Stereo Professional Headphones do sound amazing for the money. They do cancel out a lot of outside noise so a school bus would be a great test and a good place to use them, you'd just have to pay close attention to get off at the right stop!
