“How durable are these? I am looking to replace my old skullcandy headphones , which broke on me from simple daily use. Do these seem sturdy enough to last? And if they DO break, am i covered by the warranty?”

Hello- These were built for professional use in the field in the most strenuous environments; film studios, broadcast trucks, recording studios, live sporting events and so on. These environments are extremely tough on equipment, however, the HD 280 was designed to withstand that abuse. It is extremely durable and has totally replaceable cables and padding for a long operating life (no more throwing away a headphone because there are no parts for it). The warranty is 2 years.

Please try again later.The Sennheiser Closed Over-the-Ear Dynamic Stereo Professional Headphones are great sounding but for durability, they are still plastic with metal on the inside. I think the Koss DJ Pros are a little more durable. If you want coverage against breakage, get the Black Tie protection, now that's good insurance!
