“Are these good for big heads? I mean my head is big so occasionally the average sized head phones would break after 1.2 years of use. I want one that would last much much longer.”

Probably not. These are rather uncomfortable after an hour of wearing them. I wouldn't recommend them to someone with a large head or sensitive ears.
