• A:Answer These headphones use their own transmitter base. They are not bluetooth enabled. You would need to connect to your Samsung using either the rca connectors or the optical audio out on the back of your TV. Works fine with my 82 inch Samsung.

Q: QuestionCan I connect the transmitter directly via cable to my smart TV or DVD player to watch DVDs? I do not have Wifi, I only watch DVDs. No headphone input on my TV, (audio input does not accept my earbuds). The DVD player has a digital coaxial cable jack.

• A:Answer Yes. These headphones are not WiFi enabled and must be connected through the digital or analog sound on the tv or receiver. The connectors are different than a regular headphone jack. These headphones also have amazing sound. I have a difficult time hearing and these headphones really deliver clear speech. I can actually hear all of the conversations now. It's amazing.

• A:Answer Depends on your TV. It must be a smart TV. Each TV may be different. Mine is a Visio and it was extremely easy to hook-up. You can try it but I would suggest you go to You Tube. Sennheiser is a very reputable and well-known company and I found several very clear instructions that got me hooked up to function wirelessly - which is why I bought them.
