Depends on your TV. It must be a smart TV. Each TV may be different. Mine is a Visio and it was extremely easy to hook-up. You can try it but I would suggest you go to You Tube. Sennheiser is a very reputable and well-known company and I found several very clear instructions that got me hooked up to function wirelessly - which is why I bought them.
