It depends on what you want to use it for. Like any mic might be okay at a party using a PA system for announcements. But if you are looking to do voice recording then it is a different story. Also you need to see your budget! The mic is only one cost, you need to factor in stands, speakers, wires, connectors, mixers, power sources, recording equipment and software. Like a simple rode mic maybe around $200, but when you combine everything else the price could easily be around $700 without the computer used to record the voice.

This mic is very well suited for stage vocals and it is unlikely that you will have to use any corrective EQ, which is always helpful to avoid correcting if you don't have to.
