- Answer Weight limit 250 pounds. I have only had mine a couple of months, and have not had a chance to settle down and use it continuously for long periods yet, but it sits really comfortable for me - I am a fairly heavy woman. I'll be in it for hours doing my taxes in the next week, so I'll find out how many hours it remains comfy!

QuestionWhy is the beige chair so much cheaper than the black or ivory? Are they exactly the same except for the color?

- Answer When I bought mine, the black one was cheapest. I wanted the ivory one, but it was out of stock. I think the price depends upon the demand at any given time. All the colors appear to be exactly the same, but I have only seen the black one in person.

- Answer You tighten or loosen the tension for the back so it can rock back more or less. You turn a thing underneath the seat to accomplish this. Maybe that's what you mean by tilt.
