Is the remote useable while it is charging? null

It does not appear so, it comes with a charge base, so it’s best to just put it on the base when not in use. I did test it by plugging it in to another USB C cable and it went to the charge screen and would not let me use the controls. The battery life is pretty good, should last you all day for the most part.

No it just displays the date and time while it’s charging.

Not sure because I put it on the charger once a week. When I do charge it it charges very fast.
