“I just bought the 3 in 1. The controller will not work! Is there a way to connect the controller or could the battery be dead even tho its brand new or is the unit junk?”

I would try changing the battery out for new because of course a battery can go bad. I have one of these units and they for sure are not junk at all actually very awesome so you will love it. Also check if it tripped your circuit breaker. If these devices are running with other high draw devices or appliances connect to the same time it will/may trip it. I can't run mine and my blow dryer at the same time upstairs in my home. And I cannot run it at the same time I'm running my microwave downstairs.
