“when a set temp is set, for example 72 on the heat setting, will it turn on and off on its own. Like if i set it to 72 and it drops to 71, will the heat go on and then once it reaches 72 it will idle? or will it continuously go off as 72 temp?”

Yes it will turn off once air quality is at 100, or temperature is at the number you set. That’s the best feature and honestly for the price totally worth it.

The fan and heating element will work up until it hits the set temperature, then both the heating and fan will turn off, until the temperature drops below the set temp again. If you want a little breeze after it's done heating, you can kick the fan on manually by changing the fan speed and it will continue until it has to heat up again.

I have noticed that when I set it at 72 degrees, when it runs it may end up at 73 degrees when it goes off. This doesn’t really bother me. Other than this - it does a very good job of maintains the setting.
