“Is it common for the LED lights to flicker some when the wand/canister is at almost ground level when getting into hard to reach places or could that be a short?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not experienced this. The red light did go on while I was vacuuming the shag carpet. I shut the machine off; emptied the canister (even though it had not reached "full" level) and the red light has not been an issue since.
