If you set it to the "dry only" feature it will stop spraying cleaning fluid and only extracts water from the carpet. You can see the water it is extracting so you can keep going over the spot until it's no longer pulling up liquid. After that it should be fully dry in a few hours.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Shark EX301 dries carpets in about 2–4 hours with Quick Dry mode and good airflow. Full deep drying can take 6–12 hours depending on carpet thickness and humidity.
