Does the purifier take out, or impact mold? null

I do not have a mold problem in my living space and therefore cannot comment on it's efficiency in taking care of it.

What you may want for mold is a dehumidifier. However, a serious mold problem is worth hiring a professional for. I have a permanent lung condition from working in a mold infested business, 3 days a week for 6 months. (My boss and a co-worker died.) Mold is nothing to fool around with. With regard to this Shark air purifier, I just bought it due to a neighbor’s smoking getting into my unit. I’m using it in a 400 sq ft living room: So far I’m still smelling some smoke, but I’m glad I bought this anyway. There appears to be a slight improvement. Wishing you well.
