• I'd test it with a little smoke (ex. light a match nearby). If it stays 100% contact Shark.

• You have clean air. You can test it by spraying hair spray or a strong spray. It will pick up the smell and the fan should start up.

• To really check it I'd try creating a little smoke near it and see if the % drops. If not, there may be a problem. If the % does drop, congratulations on a clean house.
