Ours will do this when cooking, ironing, allowing outdoor air through the door, using hairspray or starch, even strong perfumes. Just doing its job, I would guess. Doesn’t usually do this, for us, unless something is changing the air quality. Be certain that you’re cleaning the machine as well as changing the filter when needed.
