“Vacuum will come on and then, immediately shut off. We have kept it on the charger but no light comes on anymore. It has been a good vacuum, until now, but suddenly will not keep running. What could be the reason? It is bout a year and a half old. I”

Actually we had the same issue with ours. Our son did something in the battery and then it worked fine. Not sure exactly what he did though.
