“Just purchased a shark ION robot RV700. Can I pick up the Shark and place it in the upstairs bedroom and manually hit the clean button without confusing the device for normal cleaning on the first floor?”

• Hello Vicki, We are happy to confirm that you can pick up the vacuum and use it in a different room. When you put it in the room you can press the Clean button on the vacuum to start it. This will not affect its cleaning on another floor. We hope this information helps. The Customer Support Team

• Yes, that will work fine. We do that a lot as we have three floors

• i did this for about a month then i just bit the bullet and bought a second one... i love it. Im having problems with one now ( keeps giving error message) so I consider the second one a back up now
