The shark ion rv750 will clean a room for one hour then return to its docking station. so depending on the room size, it may clean the same area multiple times before returning. From what I have seen it may look random but it does have somewhat of a pattern it follows so it should clean the whole room in the hour time. It says it cleans up to a 1000 square foot room but I don’t have a room big enough to test it and the powder I put on the floor to see if it would clean the whole room was all gone when it finished. That being said you can control it from anywhere with WiFi or data so if you want you can have it reclean a room if you feel it didn’t do a good enough job the first time even if you are not home.
