“I purchased (and returning) an iRobot Roomba 960 The WiFi on Roomba will ONLY Pair and run with 2.4 Ghz and NOT with the 5 Ghz Google WiFi Mesh. Will the Shark Pair and run with a 5 Ghz Wifi?”

• It’s the same with the Shark. They all run with a lower frequency WiFi. You don’t need high speed for those machines. They are not really streaming devices.

• Most consumer grade wi-fi devices will only pair with 2.4 Ghz. This is changing as technology progresses, but our Shark only uses 2.4. That's not a problem for us because we have a mesh wi-fi system that handles both.

• We have a dual band WiFi gateway (2.4 & 5) from AT&T UVerse and ours works fine.
