“Does this robot vac do well avoiding obstacles such as cords, toys that may have been thrown in its path, pet dishes or throw rugs? I know the roomba i7 states it avoids the obstacles even dog poo so I am wondering if this will do the same. TIA”

We would like to let you know that the Shark ION ROBOT is designed with Smart Sensor Technology so it can navigate around obstructions as it cleans your floor. However with cords or any other areas you may not want it to go it is recommended to use boundary strips to stop the Robot from going in those areas.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.So I’ve had to rescue it a few times from some chords and it fights it’s way up the base of my Sonia stand. So that can be an issue notherwise it’s great. And quiet too compared to roomba
