A:AnswerIf you have the rollers turned on, all it does is spit everything out behind the vacuum. If you turn it on but keep the rollers off, it works okay. I wish there was a way to change the rollers!
A:AnswerContains 3 Filters:
1 - Pre-Motor Foam Filter (requires rinse and air dry every 3 mos. under normal use)
1 - Pre-Motor Felt Filter (requires rinse and air dry every 3 mos. under normal use)
1 - Post-Motor HEPA Filter (clean once every 2 years or as needed)
A:AnswerYes! Use a soft cloth, gentle dish soap and air dry. Like you I washed the filters. Personally, I am very pleased with this vacuum in the way it cleans and how easy it is to maintain.
A:AnswerHello Sunny ,
The Shark - Navigator Lift-away Deluxe Bagless Upright Vacuum does have a belt to turn the brushroll. They can be purchased directly from Shark at 1-800-798-7398.

A:AnswerGreat question TobyMacMom!
Due to the huge suction power of the Shark - Navigator Lift-Away Deluxe vacuum, it may become necessary at times to adjust the suction release (c) on the handle. (Fig. 11) If the vacuum seems
difficult to push or pull or if it is lifting up area rugs, adjust the suction release by rotating the collar 90° counterclockwise to open the valve. Rotate the collar clockwise to close the valve when you need high suction and for vacuuming floors.
Hope this was helpful.
Kind regards,

A:AnswerWe would like to let you now that the filter is located in the unit under the dust cup. To access the filter you would need to remove the dust cup. The filter is a triangle shape. For optimal performance, wash pre-motor foam and felt filters every 3 months under normal use. Wash post-motor foam and felt filters every 12 months under normal use.
A:AnswerNo, it does not. You have to remove the hair stuck on the brush roller unlike the more expensive models advertised. However, you can easily separate the base with the brush/roller from the rest of the parts so you can set it on a table, instead of being on your knees on the floor, to pull/cut off the hair.
A:AnswerHello mom,
This great vacuum will have warm air coming out of the exhaust. It is designed this way to help prevent the motor from overheating.
We hope this information helps.

A:AnswerAs long as you follow the maintenance instructions for the filters, you don't need to replace them. Make sure they are completely dry, before reinstalling them and you should be good.
A:AnswerI use the air compressor and blow all the dirt out of all the filters. The metal one too. It keeps everything dry. You can also blow out the dust cups. It keeps it all like new.
