“Does it have a flap that closes when not vacuuming so i could vacuum up bugs without them climbing back out?”

• No there is no flap to keep bugs from escaping the collection chamber.

• This unit does not has a flap , all the dirt and items that get sucked by the unit will go into the dust cup.
