Yes, I have been thoroughly impressed with what it picks up. I have a Sears 12 amp canister vacuum and this seems to perform on par with it.

What I can tell you is that it will suction up almost anything in front of it, and the vacuum floor rollers feel like they are pulling you along for the ride!
