“I have a difficult time disengaging the canister part to empty it. Have to try many, many times before it comes off. Help!!!”

Hello Fran, We regret the learn you're having trouble with the disengaging of the dust cup. To empty The Shark - Rocket Bagless Upright Vacuum dust cup, simply press the wand release button on the top of the wand to disconnect it from the handheld vacuum. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure why. I just hold mine over top of the garbage can and press the button and it releases. Maybe there is something wrong with your release button
