• Don't have this model but I can say the Dyson is good for pet hair but not for pieces like cat food. Battery dies quickly and I have had problems charging. Wouldn't buy the Dyson again

• Shark is just as good as dyson if not better and much more affordable

• It's corded, which I like. The Dyson stick models are all cordless and only have about 15 minutes of use before they need to go back on the charger for 4 hrs...
