“If I am using this vacuum for hardwood floor does it have a dial so the brush doesn't spin? Other vacuums state for floor and carpet, but do not have a dedicated selection for only floors. Otherwise the floors can scratch with the brush spinning.”

We would like to let you know that the brushroll spins in both carpet and barefloor settings. However the brushroll spins at a slower speed in the barefloor setting, and will not damage your floors.
