• Yes it does - the whole vacuum basically comes apart to use in so many different ways.

• We would like to let you know that this unit does have the lift-away feature that allows you to be able to use the unit as a canister vacuum, however it does not have the ability to use the floor nozzle attached to the wand while in the lift-away mode.
