Does this model have auto rewind? null

No thank God, auto rewind is a maintenance nightmare.

No, cord wraps like most on handle but it at least has a quick cord release. You still have to wrap it back onto the machine manually.

Nope. Works great otherwise but you have to wind the cord back onto (or off of) the machine. Plenty of cord. It really pulls dog hairs out of carpet well.
