“When I began vacuuming today the brush light did not go on when I lowered the handle, and the brush did not turn. I checked all connections and everthing looked like it was secured in place. Any suggestions?”

Check to make sure that the switch is flipped on carpet and not on hardwood floors. The switch is on the front of the handle. I had to use the instruction booklet alot when I first bought this vacuum. Hope this helps.
