Yes! You can lift off the main motor/canister and use the powered floor nozzle completely flat with just the hose to get under a bed.

No but you can use attachments easily

You can remove the canister for easy under bed cleaning. The canister is lightweight. I think you can go to youtube and search for Shark's to see how this is done.
