“This will be our 2nd Shark vacuum purchase in 6 years. We purchased the 1st directly from Shark.com which gave us a built in "bumper to bumper" warranty. Does purchasing from Best Buy afford the same 5 yr protection?”

According to the Warranty Specifications, the NV681 Shark vacuum has a 7 year warranty! That is one reason reason I preferred this model to all the others! I also added a 5 year Geek Squad Warranty to make sure I never have a problem! This is a long term investment as far as I am concerned - and - it is well engineered from top to bottom!!!
