A:Answertheres an opening on the right side bottom 90 degrees from where the bottom hose hooks up, unlatch that and you can get to the inner side of the vac. hope that helps!

Have to call customer service, who will send you a replacement whole base for the cost of $ 70 plus tax. Unless you argue with them and get it down to $ 40

Poor engineering and bad for environment
A:AnswerMake sure its truly clean i had something similar happen to me recently because my husband vaccumed moist dirt. Its a very good vaccum but if you don't make sure to clean the hose, the roller and the canister properly it will not work to its potential. Make sure theres nothing stuck on the rollers or the hose behind the rollers. Mine ended up having dry dirt stuck and it would only suction at around 40% once i cleaned it it was good as new.
