• As long as you wash them periodically they will last forever just make sure you let them dry completely before putting them back

• Your Instruction booklet should tell you how often to change the HEPA filter. But, be sure to wash the foam filter regularly--when it begins to look a little dirty. Use soap & water, and dry thoroughly.
