No. If you want a wet/dry vac, get a shop vac. This is a normal indoor vacuum cleaner that is not meant for steam cleaning, vacuuming up liquids, or being hosed off or wet in any way. The filters come out to clean and they must be fully dry before putting them back into the machine.

Waterproof? Like submerging it in water? No. If you mean will it pick up standing water, I'd say no. Get a shop-vac. That's what they're designed for.
