“Does this have an on - off switch and a long cord? My shark pocket steam mop has too short of a cord and when I go to unplug it to plug into next outlet the steam ruined my hardwood floor just from sitting on it for a few seconds while I went to replug”

• It does not have an on/off switch. You plug it in and out starts heating up. You then choose one of three levels but it does not actually START releasing steam and spinning until you pull the handle back. It stops again as soon as you put the handle back up.

• We would like to let you know that this unit does not have an on/off button. When plugged in it goes into a standby mode. The cord is 20 feet long.
