Yes, the Odor Neutralizer Technology uses a light fragrance. If you're sensitive to scents, the feature can be disabled by removing the odor cartridge while keeping the dial cover installed for proper vacuum function.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, very strong fragrance. The good news is, you simply twist the teal cartridge out, put it in a sealed plastic bag and throw it away. Then you install the black cover into it's slot. It works just fine. (I also H-A-T-E fragrance). See manual page 5 for instructions and pictures.
