“Is there a more eco friendly version of the pads? A reusable option? Can I use a more eco friendly/ crawling baby friendly cleaner in it? Are these options that could become available? Because I would buy ASAP”

No there is not one sold directly. The company sells you the mop in hopes that you keep buying their excessively expensive waste of plastic and cloth refills. You can make your own reusable pads for a few bucks and eliminate a lot of the expenses. Here’s a video how: https://youtu.be/BGJ16usFAr8

It is not recommended to use other cleaners in the Vacmop. Our cleanser has been specially formulated to provide a residue-free, streak free finish and is also 99.5% water and is non-toxic. Using other cleaning solutions may result in streaking and residue and depending on the cleaner it may be too thick to spray.
