• Hello, We would like to inform you that the Shark Navigator® Bagless Upright Vacuum works great on most flooring types. This vacuum allows you to turn the brushroll off when vacuuming bare floors. When vacuum rubber mats, you may need to turn the brushroll off to assist with maneuverability. We hope this information helps. The Customer Support Team
