“I just started using this oven. It smells like plastic is burning & the cabinet gets hot. I chatted with Sharp support & was told this might be normal as long as it is working okay. The oven is working great but the smell is troublesome. Is this normal?”

Mine took about 3 days to stop smelling of plastic. Yes it gets rather hot but my old one did too so I guess that’s part of the process.
