“Does flush mount mean when the MW facia is recessed into the cabinet opening so the front edge is flush with the plane of the cabinet? Do I need this product if the back edge of the MW facia is installed to be even with the plane of the cabinet instead?”

Hello, flush mount means that the front or top of the unit sits flush or on the same plane as the surrounding cabinetry. If the unit is being installed flush and you are not doing a regular installation, a Flush Mount Kit is required. Please email us at onlineuspport@sharpsec. com if you need further help.
