“Can the CD-BH950 play random between all 5 CDs? (.CD1/Track 2, then CD3/Track6) I bought it just for this function. If not, I want to return it. My previous Sharp CD-DK890N could random play all tracks on up to 5 discs when in RANDOM mode.”

There is no "Shuffle" mode available for playback, there is only "Random" mode - which, as others have said, plays tracks randomly from a single CD until it has played all tracks from that disk, then switches to an other CD and begins randomly playing that disk's tracks. The unit most definitely does not play a track from one CD, then randomly switch to another CD and play a random track, then randomly switch to a third CD and play a random track. It's nice that the Sharp did that, but this unit absolutely does not.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, the unit will randomly play songs on an individual CD until all songs have been played on that disc. Once all songs are completed on that disc it will move on to the next CD tray and randomly play songs from the disc in that tray.
