• I believe so. the Bluetooth has nothing to do with the speakers. The instructions do insist on speakers of at least 6 ohm imedance, so common 4 ohms ones are not a real good idea. eight ohms should be fine. again the Bluetooth and seakers are not really related.. allan

• Hello Terri, yes you would still be able to connect your Ipod or Ipad to the unit via Bluetooth, as the Bluetooth is through the main unit and not the speakers.
