“I would like to connect my TV output so that I can use this as a "sound bar" the way I used my last system. Can I connect this to my tv and when I watch a movie, turn it on for enhanced sound thru the speakers i.e. is there an auxiliary? Thanks Brad”

Hello Brad, this unit can be used as an external speaker. You may connect the auxiliary cable to the "audio in" port of the unit then you press the "audio in" button to get sound.
