I just got one a few days ago. Yes, this is happening! No way to fix it??! Well, I guess my review is going to suck for them.

Please be advised that once the device (phone/tablet) has on Bluetooth and is already connected to the unit and is within 32 feet (10 meters) it will be activated, this does not have to be yours, it can be from someone who is in the same proximity. The suggestion is for you to do a reset, this can be found on page E-19 of the manual in this link: https://data2.manualslib.com/pdf6/129/12851/1285005-sharp/xlbh250.pdf?003dd176594e9ff854da8fda66096767.
