• I have Comcast and when I put the tv on cable box the cable remote works the tv.

• Hello Susan, when a cable box is connected to the TV, the remote for that cable box operates the cable box itself. So yes the cable remote would be able to change channels once using a cable box.

• Yes, my cable remote works for this tv. The remote that came with it controls the power on/off and volume (and also to get back to the cable box each time the tv is turned on)
